The client’s investment strategies were highly technical and focused on niche assets on the cutting-edge of the asset management sector. Communicating the advantages of trade finance, asset-backed loans and litigation investing to an audience unfamiliar with these concepts was the primary challenge.

We created a comprehensive content strategy. Our weekly articles explain the advantages of these complex strategies in a clear-cut and straightforward manner. These articles are ghostwritten for the fund’s manager and often feature links back to their website and fund prospectus. 

Our research integrates the latest economic developments and breaking news to capture the attention of readers. Articles are distributed across social media platforms including LinkedIn to gain traction with the target audience. 

We also helped create LinkedIn Advertising campaigns and cold email formats for the client’s outreach efforts.

The client’s services focused on economic conditions and emerging investment opportunities in Frontier Markets including Iran, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Since these economies are highly volatile, illiquid and risky, they tend to be overlooked by most investors. The challenge was to attract the attention of investors and readers in developed markets across Europe and North America and help them overcome their home country bias.

Solutions:

Our team created a comprehensive white paper covering the economic conditions, political catalysts and investment opportunities in Iran. Our focus was the country’s demographics, young talent pool, and the potential for the 2015 Iran Nuclear deal to unlock tremendous economic value.

This white paper was published and circulated in 2016, shortly before the global political landscape changed drastically.
